we went to the LAST doctor’s appointment yesterday. jennie’s made some progress, but this being the 41st week, they decided to schedule an induction for next wednesday the 15th.

of course, nothing can be easy, and we’re an “alternate”, which means that if no one goes on their own between now and then, we get bumped!

if we make the cut though, we’ll be admitted at 4pm on wednesday. they will start the cervadill overnight, and then proceed with the pitocin thursday morning.

this is all assuming she doesn’t go into labor between now and then.

it was weird lying in bed this morning thinking “this is the last saturday of our lives that we WON’T be parents.”

Well, the due date was yesterday and still no baby. We have an appointment tomorrow morning. Hopefully we’ll walk out of there with a date for induction if nothing else happens in the meantime.
