good morning, good morning
Good morning. Just wanted to update everyone on how the girls are doing. Mommy is doing better, still a bit of a fever here and there, but her max temp was 100 last night as opposed to 103 the night before. The bacteria has been identified and the antibiotics are taking effect it seems. Jenn’s also moving around well which is great cause she can hold the baby and interact with her more.
Maddie continues to do well, although she’s dropped a little weight. But she’s being supplemented with formula now while they try and determine whether it’s ok for mommy to feed her so hopefully she’ll start gaining some weight back soon. She slept great last night, the nurses only brought her in one time last night to feed.
So I think we’ve turned a corner. We’re still not sure when we’ll go home but as long as Jennie continues to improve throughout the day it should be sometime before Turkey Day!
